About the Program

In the present context, for Indian companies to survive and grow in global marketplace, they must use Operations Management and Six Sigma principles to understand customer requirements and improve the quality of goods and services to world-class levels.
This program would revolve around the key concepts, the process of implementation and the specific challenges of Six Sigma.
The program also teaches the basic statistical tools and techniques used in Six Sigma. The program will be conducted on the various phases of DMAIC model to enable the participants to work in terms of methodology, tools & techniques.
The Objectives of this Course are:

  • To gain an understanding of the tools and techniques used to manage a project's entire project management life cycle from start to finish.
  • To enable participants to obtain a good understanding of the philosophy and principles of Operations Management and Six Sigma.
  • To enable participants to effectively plan for quality, control quality and eventually improve quality of the goods and services of your company.
  • The Six sigma program is designed on the various phases of DMAIC model (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to enable the participants to work in terms of methodology, tools & techniques. Each concept will be supported by case studies/assignment and class exercises
  • The participants will be given exposure to solve problems in MS Excel & Minitab. Each session would have read material, which the participant is expected to read and come to the class.

  • Corporate Nominated (graduation criteria maybe considered for exemption in cases where participants have some prior experience in the respective domain).
  • On case-to-case basis less experience can be considered.
